a great stay ! Everything we thought we might need is already
here-compliments & kudos to Karen and John ! I hesitate to
tell many folks about this hidden paradise-some travel secrets do
not need to be shared ! Fantastic accommodations ! DG Our
stay this time marks our second anniversary. Each time we come to
your wonderful, restful cabins, we return refreshed and renewed.
Thank you for being such great stewards of this property, and for
having the vision to create this magical place. We got here as soon
as we could and will be back as soon as we can. Love, G & S We
visited for our 20th anniversary ! This was out first time staying
here. Everything it claims to be and so much more. What a beautiful
place ! We will be back next year. D & D This
is our second visit to your cabins ! Last time we stayed in the
Taos cabin. We don't know which one we like better (Spring) ! We
had so much fun here. It has been so clean and "bug
free" each time. "Thanks !" The hot tub on the
porch is one of the main reasons we came back. There aren't any
other places that offer such a treat with the view of the river.
We will be back next Spring. We
were looking for a weekend retreat. So surfing the internet-this
place looked neat. Sent Karen an e-mail and booked cabin
"Spring". We're off to Glen Rose for our weekend fling ! The
fishing lines we set, hoping for dinner. But alas, we caught
nothing, nary a minner ! So we jumped in the hot tub for some
relaxation. Had the cooler beside it full of our favorite
libation. When
we'd had enough, we jumped into bed. Fell asleep as soon as the
pillow touched out head. When all of a sudden, there arose such a
clatter. We sprang open the door to see what was the matter. And
much to our wondering eyes did appear, Mr. Racoon rifling through
our beer! We left him alone and went back to sleep. Figuring
he'd found not much to keep. Our
time here was short, but well worth our while. Can't wait to come
back, we'll be all smiles ! All these journal entries were true
that we read. The best place to be is "PALUXY
RIVER BED!!" |
